After Nirbhaya incide nt occurred, the whole nation was in angst and fire, with numerous candle marches taking place all over the country in almost every town and city across the length and breadth of India. It was seen as a big event na tionally as well as internationally. The western media published it with same attentiveness as Indian media. The protests were rather big as they came as a part of series after Anna movement in which all country was pushed into a non violent revolution cum agitation lead by Gandhian Anna Hazare. The flames hadn't been quenched and they were ignited after the Nirbhaya Rape Incident again. A girl in Delhi named Nirbhaya was gang raped in a moving transport bus by the driver conductor and their accomplices.
